You have found an animal, and then?
Almost every native Dutch animal is protected. This means that the animal can only be prepared by an RVO registered taxidermist. A.A.& S. will register the animals for you with RVO. Previously, you had to go to the police for a transport permit, but this requirement has been abolished since January 1, 2017. You can now come directly to A.A.& S. with the dead animal. Please remember to put your animal in a plastic bag and store it in the freezer as soon as possible if you cannot come to A.A.& S. immediately.
If you wish, you can bring a base or mount for your animal. We will record your details and preferences and start working on your request. Once the preparation is complete, we will contact you so that you can come and collect it.
When you come to collect the prepared animal, we will provide you with a manual. With our treatment and your proper care, you can enjoy the preparation for a lifetime.
Our Approach
We maintain personal contact with you to take your preferences into account. We discuss the posture, the pedestal, and agree on the exact price. This way, you know exactly what to expect, and you won’t be confronted with unpleasant surprises.
